4.1. Size and layout of fitter rooms
The size and layout of the rooms in fitter rooms can vary depending on the provider and region. As a rule, however, the rooms are equipped more functionally than luxuriously. The rooms can be offered as single, double or multi-bed rooms, depending on needs and availability. The rooms often have basic equipment such as beds, cupboards, tables and chairs and some also have a small kitchenette or refrigerator. Shared bathrooms and kitchens are common in many rooms for fitters. When planning rooms for fitters, it is important to keep the requirements and needs of the target group in mind and at the same time to comply with legal requirements and safety standards.
